Sean J. O'Rourke

I'm a 23-year old song writer, guitarist, writer and photographer currently living in Bayonne, New Jersey. I've moved around and seen some things. In the past two years I've lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, Asbury Park, NJ and Miami Beach, FL. I've spent a sizable amount of time in my home-away-from home: Boston, Massachusetts.

I've played guitar, bass or sang in numerous acts, most affectionately with Racing Kites and (currently) with Rebel Nights and Hudson. In 2007, a song I wrote in my bedroom when I was 16, "Not Giving Up" was featured in 20th Century Fox's John Tucker Must Die. With Hudson, I'm currently helping to write our bands' third major release.

Aside from music I do freelance internet marketing, writing, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing and e-commerce.

I'm a big fan of punk, indie and blues music. Some of my favorite acts are the Bouncing Souls, John Mayer, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen, the Gaslight Anthem, Kevin Devine, Saves the Day, the Ataris and Jay-Z.

I am a somewhat-monstrous Boston Red Sox fan.

Some of my favorite movies are heavily-reliant on music, including Garden State, Dan In Real Life, Away We Go, Juno and the Last Kiss. I'm also a big fan of the Departed, Clerks, Old School and Animal House.

I'm a big fan of life soundtracks: when music matches surroundings.

I love to write, play guitar really loud, take pictures of the most random things and read. I am a huge geek.
